As a global wine distributor and community-based platform, Vivino quickly recognized a growing need for holiday-related wine imagery to support its various promotions and marketing efforts. Given the vast array of globally celebrated holidays, stock images were limited, and there wasn't a budget for new photo shoots. This prompted the exploration of AI imagery tools to build a library of nondescript wines in various holiday settings utilized across site, app, and marketing channels.

Auto-Generated Marketing Templates

In addition to the need for wine-related holiday imagery, Vivino's marketing teams sought self-service promotional templates. Using pre-set components in Figma, a basic template structure was created enabling users to generate over 10 marketing assets with just three simple inputs (main offer, badge copy, & image crops). These assets could then be used across both on-site and off-site channels, allowing for the rapid creation of marketing materials and flexible sales campaigns with almost instant turnaround.

Auto-generated Marketing Templates - Designed template structure and asset generation functionality covering core on-site and off-site promotional marketing assets. Onboarding marketing partners to template use and conducting ongoing asset quality assurance prior to campaign launches.
