CANADA DAY & MOVING DAY PROMOTIONS
While the majority of Canada celebrates Canada Day on July 1st, French-Canadians around Quebec celebrate a holiday known as “Moving Day” (due to historical fixed-term leases). Over 200,000 individuals move yearly to new homes and apartments all at the same time.
These two holidays happening in tandem led to the creation of a dual promotion for Wayfair Canada, advertising Canada Day Sales geared toward the English-speaking demographic and Moving Day sales for the French-speaking demographic settling into their new homes.

Responsibilities: Oversaw and guided the creation of both “look & feels” for Canada Day & Moving Day Promotions, as well as promo marketing creative assets for digital channels.

Utilizing illustration and motion, represent corresponding scenes for each holiday in a fun and engaging way
Focus on quick-hit representations of each holiday
Lean into the classic red of the Canadian flag and the historic blue of the Qubeciois flag in corresponding sale palettes

Ensure promotionality along with clear and concise value props
Prioritize value props and product classes as hierarchy one across creative assets
Use illustration as a supporting creative element across deliverables where possible
